MultiCash Communication Day 2017 – Focus on the strategic repositioning of e-banking solutions

Digitalisation, optimized workflows and security were among the main topics of the event, attended by over 100 specialists from corporates and businesses

MultiCash Communication Day 2017

This year’s MultiCash Communication Day in Cologne’s Lindner City Plaza hotel focussed on strategies and scenarios for establishing payments as a “digital process” across systems and departments.

The requirements resulting from the digitalisation of payments within the corporate’s organisation and its IT systems were analysed by an expert from PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH. How security features in MultiCash Security contribute to meeting the increased pressure for compliance and fraud prevention was illustrated by Omikron’s Gregor Opgen-Rhein. Deutsche Post AG then presented a practical example of how Denied Party Checks can be implemented within a global Payment Hub.

In the second part of the event, AUGUST STORCK KG explained how workflows can be optimised by combining treasury and accounting with the MultiCash Payment Factory. At the same time, participants were shown how this enables corporates to benefit from new digital services, such as FX-Management. Following this, an expert from BP Europe SE set out the potential advantages of operating a Payment Factory as a Service. To wrap up the event, Omikron provided insights into the MultiCash Transfer Payment Factory 4.0 including a presentation of the new Web Edition as well as the “Single Payment Window”, a new universal module for payments.

The traditional get together after the presentations allowed participants to continue their lively discussions on the digitalisation of payments in an informal atmosphere.
