Our forum for companies

The more than 100 participants at this year's MultiCash Communication Day in Cologne were given an overview of the upcoming technological and regulatory challenges for treasury and innovative solutions. In their presentations, renowned experts, banks, corporates and consultancy firms analysed the current situation in Electronic Banking and presented successful strategies for the future.

In its presentation, the consultancy firm Zanders Group showed how corporate treasury can organise the smooth interaction of all payment instruments in light of new regulations and standards in payments. Deutsche Bank provided insight on the increasing importance of "Banking-as-a-Service" and "Embedded Finance" as well as the changes in the established corporate banking ecosystem due to the new API-based banking services. In a case study, Winterhalter and HSBC Germany presented their approach to setting up and expanding an international payment factory with "global" EBICS and "global" CGI. RWE AG and Omikron reported on a successful eBAM onboarding project and provided important recommendations for such projects.

To complement this range of topics, participants were given an outlook on the functional scope of the new MultiCash version 5 and the planned roll-out schedule. Omikron also presented the MultiCash Transfer AutoClient, a multi-bank connector that enables automated data exchange with banks and service providers via the Omikron Cloud "as-a-Service".

The MultiCash Communication Day was rounded off with a presentation on the topics of the ISO 2019 migration, the impact of EBICS 3.0 and the requirements of SEPA Instant Payments and "Verification of Payee" for corporate payments.
