His deep attachment to the company, his professional expertise and his tireless commitment have made a decisive contribution to making our joint work successful and future-oriented. He has left his mark - in the organization, but above all in the hearts of the people he worked with. We are deeply saddened that he was only granted a single month of retirement. All the more we feel it is our duty to carry on what he left us with care and appreciation.

Helmut Knester will live on in Omikron. His ideas, his values and his visions have shaped our company for decades - and they will continue to do so in the future. It is our sincere wish to continue his professional life's work and to keep his thoughts alive as part of our self-image. His legacy is both an obligation and an inspiration to us.

In Helmut Knester, we are not only losing a valuable colleague, but also a person whose attitude and actions stood for values such as integrity, responsibility and collegiality. We will miss him.
