The "MultiCash as a Service in the Cloud" model provides you with an IT infrastructure in a certified data centre in which your "private" solution is run. As this scenario provides processing power as needed, corporates no longer need to invest in new hardware or software. At the same time, additional data capacity can be rented at peak times. The cloud model provides higher flexibility and significant savings in IT infrastructure. These services are delivered and used based on clearly defined technical interfaces and protocols. Corporates can decide between using Omikron’s IT centre or working with a data centre of their choice.
In comparison, the "MultiCash as a Service On-Premise" model is the solution operated in the corporate’s own data centre. The IT infrastructure then remains within the corporate and is maintained by in-house staff. This option is especially appealing if the internal compliance regulations do not allow for cloud-based models.
